i would test the neb calculation on my pc wich is core2duo using serial lmp_serial exe rather than mpi version
for this reason i have used the neb input example in lammps distribution. however the run stop with error message that neb calculation can’t run on single replica
i tried to use partition command but the same error appear always
so i would ask if neb calculation can be run with serial or no? and how to do this in may case (i try all what i find in the forum but without succes)

the answer is - of course - no. multiple replica are only possible
with a parallel version, as should be (very) obvious from reading the
documentation.
