Asymmetric stress tensor calculation for non-spherical particles

Hello all,

I want to export all nine components for particle stress tensor with separate kinetic and static contributions. The particles I am dealing with are non-spherical (rod like) and therefore lead to asymmetric stress tensor.

Is it possible to do this in LAMMPS? Has anyone already done it?

Couldn’t find anything in the archives. Any help is appreciated.

LAMMPS only calculates and stores (internally)
6 values for stress - i.e. a symmetric tensor.

Possible the USER-TALLY package could calc/store
something more complex if you added such
a class to it - Axel can comment.
