Build a region with oxygen atoms between two cylinder

Hello everybody,

Could you please write me any suggestion how is possible to build a region with oxygen atoms between two cylinder (r1<r<r2)? The radius of inner cylinder is r1 and the outer one is r2 (r1<r2). BTW, it would be possible to use group dynamic for oxygen atoms.
Also, it may possible to convert (x,y) to radial coordinates but I don’t know how to use them in Lammps input file.

Thanks

You can build such a region from an intersection of two cylinder regions, one with side out, the other with side in.

You have to be more specific what you need this for. in principle, such a conversion can be performed with variable definitions for r and phi that take x and y as arguments
