i cant build mpi lammps on my ubuntu.. the local expert talk to me
that building mpi lammps on each pc is different whit other..
i want to khnow is it true or not?
and i want instruction about building mpi lammps on my laptop..
meanwhile i built serial lammps on my ubuntu...
Can you build any MPI program successfully on your cluster?
LAMMPS is really no different.

that is an irrelevant question, since the compilation instructions for
LAMMPS are independent of how MPI is installed and which of the
available MPI libraries is installed. you only need to know where.
and i want instruction about building mpi lammps on my laptop..

the LAMMPS manual provides these instructions. also LAMMPS ships with
a "ubuntu" configuration makefile that has some hints which packages
are required. in addition other people have posted more detailed
instructions to this very mailing list and finally, you can just
install the contributed pre-compiled lammps binary installer package
for ubuntu.
all the necessary information is available on the LAMMPS homepage,
either directly, or through the mailing list archives and is
searchable via google. please help yourself. it is not that difficult.
