Can I use lammps to simulate the friction of polymer?

I am a beginner of the lammps,I am not sure whether I can use lammps to simulate this. Could you give me some advice?

Simulating friction of polymer systems is no more than applying a normal load then a sliding movement. LAMMPS can certainly do that. Robert already gave you a good piece of advice.
