Can lammps simulate molten salts?

Hello, everyone

Now, I want to simulate molten salts, such as NaCl (related to charged ions), using lammps. I am wondering whether lammps is feasible to do it? I have checked the manual, but did not find much information.

Thank you for your attention!

sure it can. but you won't find it directly in the manual, since this
is not how classical MD tools as general as LAMMPS work. you *first*
do some research in the published literature which is a good model for
your system and the temperature range that you are interested in and
then compare the required potential forms to the ones that are
provided in LAMMPS.
