I am trying to carry out some cluster analysis with LAMMPS by using the cluster/atom command. I would like to know what kind of cluster analysis LAMPPS performs and where I can get this information.

I am trying to carry out some cluster analysis with LAMMPS by using
the cluster/atom command. I would like to know what kind of cluster
analysis LAMPPS performs and where I can get this information.
the algorithm is fully described in the documentation.
it is not really a "proper" cluster analysis.
all it does is tell you how many atoms are
within the given cutoff around each atom.
that is it.
if you have looked up how to use the command,
you should have seen this description.
