Contact force and lubrication force

Dear LAMMPS users,

In the numerical model of dense suspensions, particles are subjected to both contact force and lubrication force (depends on the relative velocities of the particles). Can LAMMPS output these two forces separately? The compute pair/local command can only output the total force and force components. The compute pressure command can specify the contribution from a sub-style in a hybrid pair style, but this compute output global scalar and vectors, I want to analyze the distribution of these two pair interactions.

Any help will be appreciated and thank you in advance.

Ann

I don’t think it’s possible to do during a simulation, but you can output atom coordinates and their velocities and then use rerun command with only a single pair_style defined.

OK, I will try. Thank you very much.
