dimensions of box

Dear Lammps Users,

I create a box with these dimensions:

region box block 0 80 0 22 -0.25 0.25
create_box 4 box

but when I extract a dump file for time step: 0

these dimensions are written in dump file:

ITEM: BOX BOUNDS pp ss pp
0 90.6157
-0.00431615 43.1658
-0.283174 0.283174

why is the dimension of y too larger than ‘y’ dimension of box?

thanks

Dear Lammps Users,

why is the dimension of y too larger than 'y' dimension of box?

because you requested "shrinkwrap" boundary conditions for 'y'.

axel.

when I use fix boundary condition, dimensions are too large

ITEM: BOX BOUNDS pp ff pp
0 90.6157

0 43.1615----------------> y which a box is 0-22

-0.283174 0.283174

please note that you provide your box dimensions in lattice units. if
you believe that LAMMPS is behaving incorrectly on a correct input,
you have provide proof, not just claim it.

axel.
