Downloading LAMMPS

Hi, my name is Ethan Hill and I am doing research at NC State University using your program; this said, I can’t download LAMMPS because the access is Forbidden (see picture). Is there any way I can work around this? Please respond as soon as possible

Thanks so much,

Ethan Hill

Hi,

There is no attached picture. Several options exist for downloading lammps:
http://lammps.sandia.gov/download.html

If there is still a problem, please include more details in your question: what
did you try, etc... More details => more help.

Best regards,

Pierre

I’m sorry I forgot to attach a picture. It is attached below. I went to our information technology walk-in center and said that there was nothing I could do on my part. This error occurs when I click on either the download “Latest version for 64-bit Windows” or “Latest version for 32-bit Windows”

I hope this picture clears up my problem

The direct link appears to be broken.

Can you try the latest one from here: http://rpm.lammps.org/windows/64bit/
(the link just next the the direct link at http://rpm.lammps.org/windows.html)

well, the underlying reason is the transition of public LAMMPS
development to the github site and the discontinued development on
LAMMPS-ICMS, which is the base for building pre-compiled LAMMPS
binaries on lammps.org. some of the changes in upstream LAMMPS during
the transition broke the semi-automatic building of binaries, and thus
the update of the symbolic link to the "latest" version was broken as
well.

i fixed the symbolic links manually, however, the building of new
binary packages is still broken as not yet all tools, files and
scripts from LAMMPS-ICMS have been merged into upstream or to a
separate package for building LAMMPS binary packages.
