Energy deposited in each thermostatted region

Hello, LAMMPS community,
That might be a layman’s question, but I couldn’t find any answer in the docs or in this forum.
I am trying to measure heat conductivity by thermostatting hot and cold regions. I don’t want to use heat/hex/ehex fixes since I want to keep those regions at predefined temperatures. The only thing I need is to calculate the heat exchange between cold and hot regions. How to calculate the energy deposited by each thermostat in corresponding regions? The ecouple keyword does a similar thing but for all thermostats applied in total.

As per the documentation for fix nvt:

These fixes compute a global scalar which can be accessed by various output commands. The scalar is the same cumulative energy change due to this fix described in the previous paragraph. The scalar value calculated by this fix is “extensive”.

So just print out the scalars, for example:

fix nvt_hot hot nvt ...
fix nvt_cold cold nvt ...

...

thermo_style custom ... f_nvt_hot f_nvt_cold ...
