Dear developers:
The only way i know how to respond to this kind of e-mail is with a (bad) joke:
Patient: Doctor, Doctor. it awfully hurts when I do this
Doctor: Well, don’t do it then.
…and on the topic things not to do, there is also the fact, that you are running a parallel(!) application software as root. this is a bad, BAD, BAAADDD thing to do. one typo or a blank at the wrong place and your entire machine can be ruined and all data/work lost in an instant.
