When the QEq fails to converge, this is usually a sign that something else
is wrong in the simulation.[*] You should look at what is happening prior
to the first warning.

*Typically, it occurs when two ions are very close together. For
sufficiently small ion separation, the Coulomb interaction exceeds the
charge-stiffness of the ions, and the charges grow without bound.
