fix viscosity

Dear Friends

I want to use “fix viscosity” to calculate viscosity of water. I apply the following lines in my input script. But to calculate the slop of velocity profile when I draw vx vs bins(I used 40 bins) I gain a diagram that it flactuates in vx equal to zero. Also all velocities are very low, for example 0.0001.

fix 1 all viscosity 100 x z 40

fix f1 all ave/spatial 100 10 1000 z lower 0.05 vx file vx.profile

Would you please help me?

this is the kind of thing that you have to figure out for yourself.

What is your suggestion?

read the paper referenced on the documentation page that
explains the process and then try to reproduce some
known results or examples.
