Granular Pour/Deposit

Hi Lammps Users,

I just started to use lammps for one of our MD/granular simulation project. I was looking at the pour example that comes with LAMMPS. THe pour drops the granular particles from top of a box.

Can anyone please tell me how to make the pour to accumulate/deposit at a point until all the particles are poured and once the pour completes flow of the poured particles happens.

I don't know what you mean by "pour from a point",
other than a small region. The example shows how
to stop the pouring and turn on a box tilt, so flow
ensues.
