Has any one used the USER-PHONO package before

HI All

I am using the the USER-PHONO package to calculate phonon density of states. To see how it works, I run the example in “1-1D-mono”. After finishing the run. It says use code called “Phana” “->phana phonon.bin.2000000 < in.disp” to get the dispersion data . Then I downloaded the Phana code and did "./phana < phonon.bin.2000000 " but I got error saying ./phana: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

Has any one used this package before?

Michel

this sounds like you are trying to ruin a binary for a platform or OS
different than what you use.

the source code for this tool is bundled with the LAMMPS source code
and you should simply go to the tools/phonon package and follow the
instructions in the README file to build your own.
