Heat Flux Vector Calculation (stress)

Dear Steve and users,

I would like to calculate the heat flux vector (especially stress term) across two different materials. I followed the example given in the LAMMPS (Ar conductivity), but I am not sure we could use the same commend (script) for the thermal conductivity across the heterogeneous material interface. Please advise.

That’s more a conceptual Q than a LAMMPS Q. If you have

two materials, then the method will measure their aggregate

conductivity. I suggest you look for papers that talk

about conductivity across an interface.
