How is the moment of inertia of the body particles in the sample evaluate?

Dear LAMMPS users,

I am trying to create some customized body particles, but I met some problem with evaluating the inertia tensor. I hope to learn how the author or generally how can I evaluate the inertia tensor to arbitrary shape of which I know the position of each subsphere? Or is there any third party software that I can create body particle via it and evaluate corresponding inertia tensor? Thank you very much.

the "software" you seem to need is called "textbook" and should be
covering the topic of classical mechanics. you should find it at your local
library, e.g. in the form or a book authored by a gentleman named
goldstein.

enjoy and be enlightened,
