Does anybody know any publicly available, free HPC cluster for running
LAMMPS?
many universities have HPC facilities available these days. it is often
just a matter of figuring out how operates or manages them.
also, most countries have national supercomputing centers, where
researchers can apply for computer time. this is usually cost free, and
only sets you back the time and effort it takes to write a convincing
proposal. often you can get a "startup CPU time grant" rather quickly for
testing and benchmarking.
there are also some "gateways" that provide web frontends to programs like
LAMMPS. please search the mailing list archives, i recall there were people
advertising such services on this very list.
