Image charges, conducting boundaries

Dear users,
I want to simulate ionic polarization for an ionic sample inside a plane capacitor. Ions interact among them according to certain pair potential + coulomb interaction with external field and with image charges. Since there are two conductor plates, there would be in principle infinite images. The question is how to simulate this kind of boundaries?
First I tried using a slab geometry with the real part between two images. The polarization with this setup is smaller in comparison with the bulk case.
Any suggestion is welcome.

there is currently no way to do an image charge model in LAMMPS.
it would have to be implemented first.

Just to emphasize that if one day someone had the courage to implement
such an image charge model in lammps, I would be quite interested
too...
