image from particular crystal surface

Dear axel,

Thank you very much for your email.

In crystallography, it is very important to view particular planes such as (111)planes in the trajectory image. So, I am asking whether it is already possible to view planes by dump command or not?

you are not providing any helpful additional information here. you are
essentially just rephrasing your question.
how dump image can be used is written in the manual. go read.

axel.

Actually, I read it carefully but this was not exist there.

Then why do you ask for it when you already know the answer?

Dump image lets you “view” the image from any direction.

And you can bound what atoms you view via the dump_modify region

command. So you could “see” any surface you want.
