implicit solvent methods

please let me know Among various implicit solvent methods, (as I used dielectric command).
in lammps, what method was employed .(prefer to be as a reference )

which pair style are you asking about?

What do you mean by "implicit solvent" method? What are you trying to do?

If you want to use "Generalized-Born" GBSA solvent model, LAMMPS does
not support this yet.

(The nice thing about LAMMPS is that it is comparatively easier to
create your own implicit solvent model, if you can dream one up.)

What do you mean by "implicit solvent" method? What are you trying to do?

obviously, this is in reference of setting the
dielectric parameter to a different value than 1.
which results in a general rescaling of coulomb
interactions, which some people consider a
very simplistic implicit solvent model (with
obvious shortcomings).
