inclined walls

Hello everybody,

I tried to find a possibility to implement inclined walls in a 2d simulation - like in the hopper example.
Can anybody help me with that?
The fix wall/gran command for example just allows to implement parallel, perpendicular or cylindric walls, is that right?

Thanks in advance,
kind regards,

Sebastian

do you need walls for granular particle simulations or regular particles?

if the latter, check out fix wall/region. you can get pretty creative
with that...

Hi Axel,
Thanks, unfortunately I need walls for granular particle simulations... Do you know also a possibility to implement that?

Cheers,
Sebastian

Check out the LIGGGHTS www page (linked
to from the LAMMPS offsite page). They
have extended the granular options in LAMMPS
considerably, including adding triangulated surfaces
as boundary conditions on granular particles.
