I am trying to calculate stain vs energy. I have oriented my FCC structure in 111 direction. I tried two different equilibrations using iso and aniso. When I am using fix deform after equilibration I am getting two different results.Which result should I trust?
trust the result that is correct only.
You should firsthand know as to what you expect in your simulation. Remember, you tell the code as to what to do… So, it is you who has to decide about the credibility of the results. Both ‘iso’ and ‘aniso’ suffice, but only you have to decide.
