LAMMPS Installation Problem on Mac OS X 10.11

Dear LAMMPS developers,

I have tried to install LAMMPS with Homebrew, following all the instructions on this page: http://lammps.sandia.gov/download.html#homebrew. However it gave an error message if I run

% brew test lammps -v
The error messages are as following:

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/gcc/5/libgfortran.3.dylib

  Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/lammps

  Reason: image not found

Error: homebrew/science/lammps: failed

Failed executing: lammps -in /usr/local/share/lammps/bench/in.lj

I was wondering where the problem was. Mine machine is a Mac book air late 2014 version, with OS X 10.11. I would really appreciate your help.

Thank you very much!

this sounds a lot like a issue with how you have your local
compilation environment configured and what homebrew expects.
my guess is that your best shot is to recruit help from somebody local
that is a MacOS X expert and also knows how homebrew works.

homebrew support is a contributed feature (you can find the e-mail
address of the contributor on the LAMMPS download page, there also is
a link to a website to report homebrew related issues). if you cannot
find a local expert, contacting the contributor and/or using the
homebrew issue reporting facilities is probably your best shot to get
qualified help. the majority of LAMMPS users and developers compiles
and runs LAMMPS on linux.
