[lammps-users] 2D rectangular region

Dear User,

I have one doubt about the region command. Can we made any rectangular or
square region with the region command. I mean can we made any 2d simulation region in LAMMPS.

Yes, I you can do that. I think you just use INF INF or EDGE EDGE for z dimension values for region command. It should work.

The region block is 3d, but if your simulation is 2d it will just be
used as a square or rectangle.
