My problem is when data file is scanned and read from input file using LAMMPS MD software, then it shows Segmentation fault. I do not understand about segmentation fault in LAMMPS software. Please inform me about the cause of Segmentation fault in data file in input script.

Many mistakes can cause Segmentation fault. You need to provide more details for us to comment, such as a piece of data file and input script. I think it is very possible that your data file is not in the right format. You need to double check it.
