[lammps-users] Building MEAM with IBM C++ & Fortran compilers?

Dear Steve and Lammps-users,

I am having problems linking the MEAM library with Lammps. Although I am able to compile and create the library from the Fortran source files located in /lib/meam, I am not sure which other libraries I have to enable in the Lammps makefile. Please note, that I have included the MEAM package before trying to compile the whole Lammps distribution (15Jan10), that I have appended an underscore character for the Fortran objects and that I am constrained to use IBM compilers only. It seems to me that the name of the libraries included in Makefile.g++ for meam_library correspond to those of the Intel Fortran (not sure).

Based on these, what should I include in:

meam_SYSLIB and meam_SYSPATH

I am trying to use the MEAM potential in Lammps.

I am not sure which other libraries I have to enable in the Lammps makefile.

Sorry, but that's not a LAMMPS Q - you'll have to look in your compiler
docs for IBM.

I have appended an underscore character for the Fortran objects

If this means you had to edit the source or header files, then we'd like to
know what you had to do for IBM (once you get it all to work). We
will then put some ifdefs to make it work automatically for IBM. I think
Aidan did this for REAX, another Fortran lib.
