[lammps-users] Can I apply any pressure to change the shape of simulation box in LAMMPS

Dear Steven,

I would like to apply shear stress to a model with periodic boundary condition, so can I extert any pressure to change the shape of simulation box in Lammps. Or I can make it by using other method?
In addtion, when LAMMPS will add the Parinello-Rahman method to accomplish the pressure control by changing the shape of simulation box? Do you have a sechedule. We really expect your achievement as soon as possiable since quite a lot of problems can be solved throught it.

Fix deform will shear the box in many ways, but not by
applying a pressure. That requires P-R as you indicate.
Hopefully will be added this fall, but the summer has been
too busy with other tasks.
