I used tersoff/zbl potential and it worked. So I think it’s not the problem of data file and input settings.

i don't know what the problem is. there are many ways how things
can get messed up. i don't have a magic ball that tells me where.

all that i can suggest is to keep searching. practicing how to (systematically)
debug a piece of code that you have written, is a very useful skill.
