[lammps-users] Converting 2D volume fraction to equivalent volume fraction in 3D

Dear All,
Does anybody has any idea, how to convert a given volume fraction (void fraction or in 2D it will be “area ratio”) in 2D to a equivalent value in 3D simulation (just an estimation). I want to compare some results at a given volume fractions in 2D vs 3D.

If some body has came across this type of conversion, please let me know.

Thanks
