It seems that there are too many patch files since 9 Jan 2009 version, I wander when the new version will be released.

There will be a new version soon, but it doesn't really matter.
Whenever you download a tarball from the LAMMPS WWW site,
it is always the fully patched version up to that date. So on the day the new
version "appears", it will simply be that day's tarball.
