[lammps-users] Doubt regarding the stacking faults, HCP phase transformations and twins

Hello,

I am trying to visualize stacking faults, phase transformations and twins in my alloy model during a tensile test. I have tried using Common Neighbor Analysis and Dislocation Analysis in OVITO, but I haven’t quite got the visualization I wanted. I have attached a couple of screenshots of the kind of visualization I need. Is there any software that gives you that kind of visualization, and if so, how do I get that visualization? Thank you.

Hi, you can get similar type of images by applying CNA or DXA, followed by deleting the atoms which are not required in OVITO. (select atoms, delete selected type of atoms)
