[lammps-users] dump custom

Hi

I just have one seemingly simple query:

I keep on getting error: invalid keyword in dump custom command

And I have checked my syntax perfectly and I don’t see any mistake there.

I have tried:

dump 3 all custom 100 dump.poly.* id type q x y z

dump 3 all custom 100 dump.poly.* id mol type q x y z

I don’t know what’s happening

Are you using the current version of LAMMPS? The keyword
tag was changed to id a while back.

yes I am using dec6-08 version
I checked and keyword tag seems to be working fine

I don't know why it's not taking id

The doc pages (on-line) are for the current version which
uses id, not tag.
