[lammps-users] ERROR: Empty brackets in input command

Hi,

I tried making the most recent package version of LAMMPS (30-Dec-2009), and ran into problems. A script that worked fine in my old version (from October 2009) does now produce the error message

"ERROR: Empty brackets in input command"

Does anyone know what can be causing this? Could it be another bug in the code itself, or could it be something wrong on my computer that causes this? I did not get any error messages when making LAMMPS, so I assume that the executable should be working fine.

The latest version changed the syntax of several commands
that access variable, compute, and fix quantities. Just drop
the empty brackets from your command(s) and you should be fine.
