Both scripts run fine for me for a few steps and give the same answers.
I see by your input scripts that you are using an older version
of LAMMPS. Also I had to comment out some fix commands you
must have added to your version. I suggest you upgrade to the latest
(fully patched)
version and see if the problem goes away.
