[lammps-users] Generating Uniform Shear in Periodic Domain

Dear All,
I want to simulate the shear motion of the granular material in a cubical box which is bounded with the periodic domain in all directions. I do not know how i can generate a uniform shear in the periodic domain.

I will really appreciate if some one guide me how to do that (generate a uniform shear in the domain) or which command to use.

Use the fix deform command with an xy, yz, or xz setting.
