[lammps-users] Is possible to simulat laser ablation polymer with Lammps combined with DSMC?

Hello all,

Recently I try to get familiar with Lammps. It seems very powerful,
including the DSMC package. I see some papers which simulates the laser
interaction with polymer by MD combined with DSMC, but I am not sure how
they manage to realize it. Is there any one can tell me it is possible
to do this with LAMMPS?(polymer chain generation, laser energy induced
with position function, lager scaled with DSMC detection, etc)

You'll have to ask a more specific question about the
model you want to simulate. Paul Crozier (pscrozi at sandia.gov)
can tell you about the DSMC part of LAMMPS.
