You can only use fix box/relax on dimensions
that are periodic. If you have stretched a periodic
dimension (in the first stage), and then leave
it at a new value for the 2nd stage, you will
tend to leave the stress in that dim at what it
was, without using setforce or box/relax. Maybe
that is what you want.
