Yes, that is what I meant.
Re: fluctuations. I would run nve/asphere first,
then nvt/asphere, before running npt/asphere.
To insure that your system dynamics are reasonable
and that you have chosen good damping constants
for the thermostatting before you worry about
barostatting. If your system is stable, then
adding a barostat should not perturb it much.
