[lammps-users] Parallel Tempering Output

Hello,

I have a quick question on the output of the log file from a parallel tempering run. I've read the documentation, but I feel it is a bit ambiguous and so I just want to verify with fellow users.

In the output below:

Running on 16 partitions of processors

Do the columns represent distinct replicas and the index numbers represent the different temperatures of the tempering spectrum? Initially, I assumed that the columns where the different temperatures, and the index numbers were the distinct replicas as they swapped around. Sorry if this is obvious,

It's confusing b/c the number of replicas = # of Temps.
TN means the temperature being simulated by replica #N.
Replicas are numbered 1 to N.
Temperatures are numbered 0 to N-1.

So an entry of Y in the Xth column means that
Replica X is currently assigned Temp Y.
I'll add this explanation to the temper command doc page.
