[lammps-users] Porting to Solaris 10 X86

Dear All,

I just succeeded in creating a binary for the Solaris 10 X86 platform. I wonder if there are any tests that can be done. My question therefore is "are there any test suites that can be run against a new port to check if everything works ok?"

Paul,

We don't have a boiler-plate test suite. Typically the first thing to do is to check if a standard LJ system behaves like it should. There are a plethora of publications on that particular subject. Another option is to benchmark a couple of the provided examples on a known system like a desktop pentium or something and compare these results to your port.
