I downloaded the previous Jan 2010 windows version, it didn’t recognize my pair_style, I thought I should download the new version from April 7th. I also installed mpi2. But it gives me error: The application was unable to start correctly. Anyone knows what is happening?
PS: I compiled the same version of lammps from april in linux, it works fine. I am surprised to see that the windows version is not working.

What version of Windows are you using? Are you running 32 or 64 bit? Which version of MPICH2 did you download and install? Are you exactly following the instructions about running under Windows here: http://lammps.sandia.gov/doc/Section_start.html#2_5 ?
Anyone else out there seeing this error? I'm not.
With the older version, you were probably trying to use a pair style that wasn't included when we built the Windows executable. If you've got a working executable built under linux, you might want to just use that.
