[lammps-users] query regarding setforce command

dear lammps users,
my query is whether it is possible in lammps to vary the force parameter in the fix setforce command every timestep according to a prescribed function which is time dependant without explicitly writing down another fix setforce command.for eg
if force=e^(t)sinwt
if the timestep used is 1 femtosecond.and you want to use the force values obtained from the formula in the fix setforce command for 2000 steps, how do we implement it in lammps.

thanking you

by writing another fix or extending fix setforce.

axel.

See the fix move command, where you can give
it a variable for the position and/or velocity as a
function of time. If that doesn't do what you want,
then you would need to do something similar with
force as a function of time, by extending fix setforce
to use a variable(s) as input.
