Hello,

I have a 10 X 10 X 20 box that is periodic in x and y, but not z. I have two walls, a 200 particles in total, that are fixed in place on the top and bottom of the box. I also have 100 mobile particles between these fixed walls. Of these 100 mobile particles, 50 are charged and 50 are not.

After I use “replicate 2 2 1” to create a 20 X 20 X 20 box, only the wall and uncharged particles are replicated. To explain further, 800 wall particles and 200 uncharged particles are created, but I still only have 50 uncharged particles.

Is there a way to easily duplicate my simulation box and all of the particles within it?

I figured it out!

Before I had the replicate command listed before my create_atoms commands, which (for some reason) not all of my atom types were duplicated.

Now that I have placed it after create_atoms it’s doing exactly as expected.
