Hey Davide,
If you remove the whitespace from the stagger arguments, you shouldn’t get an error. Couldn’t say about the dump frequency question–interesting idea, though!

No variable definition can have added whitespace, unless you
enclose it in quotes. Same with any other argument to a LAMMPS
command.
