[lammps-users] Stress measurements in static pilings

Dear Steve and LAMMPS users,
I want to measure stresses at the bottom of silo filled with beads ( of different diameters layer by layer, for example, layer of 2mm beads on bottom, 4mm on that, again 2mm on 4mm and so on). Silo is like cylinder and all grains are in static condition. I want to compare these results with Janssen Model and others related models. Is it possible using LAMMPS? If yes, please can you tell me which fix commands I use for initialization and definition etc.

You can use compute stress/atom and fix ave/spatial
to compute the stress on each atom and average
it over layers. And output those quantities in a variety
of ways.
