[lammps-users] Test Particle Insertion

Dear Lammps users,

I'm looking for a software tool which is able to perform Test Particle Insertion. Lammps is a promising program to me. Unfortunately when reading the manual I couldn't find out whether this feature is integrated. As I am a novice in the field of molecular simulation I cannot tell whether this method isn't integrated, or whether it is such a basic feature, that it is not worth mentioning it in the manual.
Is this feature integrated in Lammps?

Ir you mean do repeated insertions of new particles using a Monte Carlo
evaulation of the energy change with a Boltzmann criterion, then
no, it is not implemented. You could write a fix to do it., but
you'd have to think about what it means to do it in parallel.
