Anyone know of a way to uninstall lammps w/o have to find and delete
all the associated files/folders? When I run "make uninstall" it was
not successful. I couldn't find anything in the docs or this mailing
list but I may have missed it.

since there is no installation, there is no real uninstall either.
all you have to do is to delete the entire folder with the lammps
sources compiled objects and so on. done.
