Sorry - I don't have time to dig thru a paper on
your behalf. I suggest you explain to the list
what you are trying to do with a wall in a periodic
system, I will say that it want some sort
of wall in the middle a periodic box, then you
can use fix wall/region and define a region
that repulses atoms somewhere away from the
boundary. But if you want some kind of repulsive
wall at the end(s) of your box, then it doesn't
matter whether your system is periodic. Hence
LAMMPS doesn't allow it.
